Affiliate VDO Automation
A desktop application that helps one person plan, prepare and keep track of short affiliate videos — and then see how the videos they posted actually did.
This page exists so that anyone using the application, or reviewing it, can find out what it is, what it does with information, and how to get in touch. There is nothing to sign up for here and nothing is sold on this site.
What the application does
- Helps plan short-form video content for products an affiliate is promoting, and keeps the research and decisions behind each video together in one place.
- Keeps a record of what was prepared, what was posted, where it was posted, and which link it used.
- Is being prepared to read back the public engagement figures for posts on accounts the account holder has explicitly authorised, so that a person can see which videos worked. This part is not enabled yet — see TikTok integration.
- Runs on the operator's own computer. It is not a hosted service, and there is no user account on this website.
What the application does not do
- It does not post to any social platform by itself. Publishing is a manual step performed by a person, who decides what goes out and when.
- It does not take payment, process payment, or ask anyone for payment details.
- It does not read other people's accounts, private videos, drafts, direct messages, or audience information.
- It makes no prediction or promise about how any video will perform, or about affiliate income of any kind.
TikTok integration
The application is being prepared to connect to TikTok so that the account holder can authorise it to read back the public engagement counts for videos they have already posted themselves. That connection is read-only by design: it is not able to post, upload, schedule or delete anything.
The integration is not enabled yet. The TikTok integration page describes exactly what it is intended to read, what it will never touch, and how authorisation can be withdrawn.
This project is independent software. It is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or connected to TikTok or any other social or e-commerce platform, and nothing on this site should be read as suggesting that it is. Platform names are used only to say which platform is being described.
